An-Taria, APT Owner, has had a passion for the health and fitness industry her entire life. With over 10+ years of education and experience under her belt, An-Taria felt led to help others through fitness in a different way. As a certified personal trainer, and through the different aspects that she has worked in, she immediately saw a void in the intentional development and growth of the personal trainer on a personal and business level.
She consistently found herself as a top performing personal trainer in her region as an employee of a big box gym. Her retention and conversion rates were company best month end and month out. Though proud of her hardwork & accomplishments, she began to notice that her Big Box gym started recommending her to more potential clients & requesting an expansion of her availability. Why you ask? Well, the more money she made, the more the gym made.
Experiencing first hand the reality of being a personal training employee, she began to consider where & how she could make a change, not only for herself, but for the countless trainers who shared the same experience. So not surprisingly, when An-Taria finally decided to pack up her things and move to Texas a lot of her clients also packed up & left the gym they had been members of during her career & many discontinued their training as well.
Leaving my clients was one of the hardest decisions I had to make, but they knew my heart & they fully understood & supported me. I could no longer invest my time, talent & expertise into a place that I felt didn’t truly appreciate me & see me for who I was, but only saw me, I felt, as a walking dollar sign for them.”
This is where the idea of APT studios came from. Determined to fill the void that trainer’s need, her facility is exactly what it says, A Personal Trainer’s Training Studio. A studio that will be committed to helping, developing, educating and promoting the hardworking and passionate trainer grow their business and make a difference through fitness.
An-Taria has worked along side Ron Boss Everline during Kevin Hart’s Rally Health Feast in New York, The Hollywood Trainer Jennette Jenkins and even Dr. Oz during her time training in the greater New Jersey/New York Area.
